My client is a global manufacturer of highly engineered products and systems design to function in often harsh and critical applications across a diverse range of applications. To further drive improvement and efficiencies in the UK-based manufacturing facility we seek a Senior Director of Operations, based in Bedfordshire, to function as a champion of site-wide operational strategy. The role will encompass leadership of Manufacturing, Safety, Quality, CI and Supply Chain.
We are seeking a talented individual who marries the best of operational theory with extensive experience in real-world operational strategy. Achieving improvements in metrics through the implementation of best practices whilst driving a culture of safety and excellence is a key headline tenet. A visible, inspiring, collaborative and communicative style is essential.
Previous plant leadership experience in high-specification engineered products is highly desirable, as is proven experience in implementing change across modern operational methodologies.
